I have two movies I want to put on one dvd. I have shrinked the files, demuxed, ripped subtitles with subrip and added the chapters through ChapterXtractor. But when playing it after compiling, the subtitles gradually goes out of sync - they come too late, starting with a second or two after 30 minutes and at the end of the movie they`re about 5 seconds too late.
What can I do to prevent/fix this?
I used dvdlabpro beta one.
Another problem arose when I used DVDMaestro - it only imported 184 subtitles out of about 600 that were ripped....It also only added 5 chapter points instead of 15.... Why isn`t it working propely.
I used Chapterextractor for the chapters and Subrip for the subs.

Are you by chance coverting from pal to ntsc. Regardless this sounds like a drop frame flag issue. Search the forum for pulldown drop and you should find out how you can correct this.

hmm, why are you demuxing/muxing the streams?
have you tried using dvdshrink to reauthor the two movies together onto one dvd-r?
if you want to create your own menus and chapter points:
create menus and chapter points first using a dvd authoring program such as tmpgenc dvd author.
it will probably tell you the files are too big to fit on one dvd-r. just ignore the error message.
When it's finished authoring the dvd, load the files into dvdshrink and shrink to fit one dvd-r.
