I caputure a tape from my dv camcorder via a firewire, the video comes out but not the sound. Been using Sony Screenblast or Sonic dvd.
I hear the sound when I'm caputuring the video, but nothing after I play it back, or burn a disc. Any ideas?

Have you checked you drivers are up to date? I'm not to fimiliar with that perticular software but maybe there's a setting where you have to turn on the audio on as well as the video.
