What are the minimum system requirements?

    Intel-compatible CPU (i486 or later),
20 MB of RAM for text mode, at least 96 MB for graphics mode with KDE (at least 128 MB of RAM is recommended to use the various office products),
bootable CD-ROM drive, or a boot floppy and standard CD-ROM (IDE/ATAPI or SCSI),
    standard SVGA-compatible graphics card,
serial or PS/2 standard mouse or IMPS/2-compatible USB-mouse.

Change the boot order in the bios to boot from your cd drive first. It should work.

yes. you can use it on a machine without a hard drive in it, in fact - I was using it recently to test out some second-hand hardware in a machine I was building, so it only had a cd-rom in it.

It won't hurt your windows at all, it runs completely off the cd. You can do a couple different types of install, poor mans and complete. Please pm me if you want more info, I'm glad to help!
