  1. Ok this isnt a big problem but i thought i might aswell ask and see if anyone else has the same!

My pioneer writes dvds perfectly but today on one dvd+r i got a power calibration error stright away i put in my dvd+rw and it worked perfectly then tried another +r but this time i made it determine maximum speed with nero i didnt to that before and it worked perfectly. do you think this was a one of? i probably burn1 or 2 dvds a week so i will let you know if it occurs again. by the way it was a mirror dvd+r and the rw was a non branded. burned all of them at 4x by the way

  4. power calibration error is due to media,i believe.
i mean, shit, your using one of the most shite dvd-rs on the market,so im not surprised.
mirror dvds are poor,at best, and unbranded are more than likely CMC or Princo dye,and there unreliable at best.
