  4. I'm also having problems with aspect ratio from a 4:3 tv show - it stretches out. Not to mention that after the first attempt, I cannot get it to save anything else (registered copy)!!!

Although I still credit the whole 42 project for showing me the light on MPEG4 compression, this software has never been released without problems!

I've been making MPEG4 compressions of my favorite music videos lately using 3ivx and I couldnt be happier. Nothings out of sync, everything looks fabulous (yes, I used the word "fabulous"), and it plays in QuickTime for Windows without having anything installed but QT. I'm pushing all the web video at work towards this type of compression, actually...

  7. AT Still was an MD by training. He was also the first osteopath - he coined the term & started a college at the turn of the century that graduated the first DO's.

Galactica, I'm impressed you caught that...

    As for 42 maybe I'll switch to 3ivx. I just like the no-brainer aspect-ratio features of 42...

I must admit that I sent feedback to the developers a couple of days ago, and have yet to get a reply. Usually they are PROMPT. The only time I didn't get a quick reply they actually fixed the problem I was having within 3 days! So I am hoping for more of the same.

I swear, this place houses the real nuts.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.

  10. It's the first time I use the program and I tried converting a DVD folder to DIVX but the program doesn't do SHIIIIT! I just wait and wait and nothing happens! I'm hardly going to dish out $20 or whatever it costs for something which doesn't work! All I want to do is convert from DVD to DIVX so that I can get relatively good quality and small file sizes from DVDs! Any other programs out there or is this the best???
