You can't add to the DVD list right now so here is a short, I do mean short, review.
I bought this for my parents for Christmas. BestBuy $180. Tag said MP3, but is NOT on box anywhere, I was skeptical until read reviews here.
Great for MP3s. Manual suggests ISO 9660, but will read Joliet disks also. You really need to limit names to 7 characters or you get ~1 on the end. It says eight, but not really. Like I said, I tested ISO and Joliet, both worked. I even slapped in a disk that had 6 folders of MP3s and an MPG movie file on the same session. Saw the folders, played all of them, AND ignored the MPG. It didn't eject the disk with this extra unknown on the same session, how is that for flexible. As for everything else it looked good in the little bit I tried. Great picture. Lacks a second set of RCA output jacks so it is either to the TV or Stereo with this player. Nice slim design. Get a good progressive scan in there with multi-disk and I will have to buy a new player. The manual for this is the same as the DV-533 and DV-533K, K for Karoke!
