  1. Been trying to convert a DivX to Mpeg2 with TMPGEnc Plus but get an error always in the same spot.

Weird thing is VDubīs error scan shows 0 errors.

Anyone knows what type of stream errors can occur that are not detected by VDub and how to solve them?

  2. You could try to run your file through divfix and see if that gives any error messages. You could also try to cut out some frames around where the error occurs and see if that helps.

DivFix doesnīt report any errors neither.

  4. One thing I forgot to mention is that VDub shows 110k frames and TMPGEnc shows more than 300k frames - which I believe is a bit too much for a 1 hour movie.

I could try to encode with different software but the thing is that that I donīt know any other encoder that has the "center (custom size)" option.
