    hey guys i looked around the forums and guides for a way to fix video files that won't let me fast forward or rewind but i came up empty. anybody know a way or a program that will fix this? thx for whatever help you guys can give

    You probably don't need to fix the files at all. Try using Zoom Player instead of Windows Media Player, which is absolute crap.
