  1. I have bought and rent many DVD's with friends and I was wondering how to make a copy so that the DVD will play in a DVD burner!

I know about the ripping and stuff needed, but I dont know the programs, the steps, or the ways to do it!

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.

  2. By law you MUST NOT copy any rent DVD!

For your own DVDs, you might allow to back up.

See DVD back up guide here: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdbackup

    Have fun

You could start by looking to the left, click on the 'ALL GUIDES' link and then click on 'DVD Rip'. That will take you to some guides that will tell you what programs, the steps and the ways to do it.

You are well within your rights to backup a DVD that you have bought but copying a rented DVD is theft.

This is your second warning on this forum over a similar issue. I will ban you if you break the rules of the forum again.

Please read the Forum Rules / Acceptable Use Policy.

    Best regards.
