  1. Hi,
    This is going to sound really basic, but how do I know whether to encode in PAL or NTSC? At the moment I'm taking a blind guess, and then when the resulting DVD looks "jumpy" I have to start all over again.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

  3. PAL is 25 fps NTSC is 29.97 fps and NTSCfilm is 23.976 fps. Open the file in virtualdub and click on file - information, it will tell you the framerate there.
