  1. I've looked through the other topics and the FAQ's and I'm not seeing the answer to this, so forgive me if I missed it. But is there a way to get the special features off of a dvd and put it on a vcd. The particular one i'm talking about is The Labyrinth, if it makes a difference.
    Thanks.

  2. Firstly, try using the search facility on this site (top of the page).

You can put the special features on a VCD but you will have to extract and author that content on yourself. No program will do it automatically for you.

You should also rip and decrypt the file VTS_01_0.VOB. This is where most of the menus of a DVD will reside and also any "special feature" that is a still screen.

Animated special features such as trailers and deleted scenes will usually be in their own vob set. The easiest way is to just rip the entire disc (e.g., with DVD decrypter or SmartRipper in file mode) and work out which is what later.

In terms of authoring menus and the like, you will have to use a proggy like VCDImager, Video Toolkit or VideoPack 4.

If you are interested in using VCDImager, I've written a number of articles and guides on how to use it here: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd
