I think I asked this in the past but now, this is for a DVD. The source AVI size is 640x360 widescreen and the black bars are clipped out from the video. I loaded it in TMPGEnc Plus and then loaded the DVD (NTSC) template. The Aspect Ratio of "4:3 Display" has been selected and grayed out. I was wondering if I should change this to "16:9 Display"? And then for Video Arrange Method, should I be putting "Full SCreen (Keep aspect ratio)"?
I have a 4:3 TV and I need the black bars to be put in.
Edit:
I have a second question. My source AVI file has AC3 sound. So I demuxed it using VDubMOD and saved it as an AC3 file. I will need to test out the very loud scenes on my DVD player to ensure my player can really play it. So, I used Source Range to select the scene with the most surround sound and converted it to an M2V file. In TMPGEnc DVD Authoring, I selected the M2V file. Then in the screen that pops up, under Audio, I select my AC3 file. After I burned it, I find that the AC3 file does not sync with the video at all. The video is a scene in the middle of the movie while the AC3 file plays from the start of the movie. How do I get it to play together at the right area? It's weird because I have never encountered a problem like this before.![]()
