  1. hi all
i have never used DVD+R before but i have some home movies i wish to burn to +R from a -R disc for a friend who's player struggles with -R.i have pioneer 107.i am led to believe that i can't just do a disc to disc copy from -R to +R.So, would i have to rip the content to HD say, with decryptor & then burn with Nero to +R? hope i'm not making a fool of myself here but i have to admit i know nothing about +R.

There have been a few recent threads from people who have had problems going from one to the other (there is a sector count difference per the standards). I would think the program doing the copying would adjust for any differences but apparently for some it did not.

IF it does not work for you, the answer for some has been to rip and Shrink with Shrink output size set to 4200mb instead of the 4464mb DVD-5 default in the preferences.

  7. this is the best and easiest way:

    1) get dvd decrypter

    2) Rip the dvd-r in ISO mode with dvd decrypter

    3) Burn the created ISO file with dvd decrypter to the dvd+r
