    I have seen several post on how to convert wmv to mpg. Which I know how to do but is there a way for me to convert my mpg/avi files to wmv using Windows 98?

    Windows media encoder, can convert many formats to wmv.

    Will this work with Windows 98? because i downloaded something similar to this and it would not work because I have Windows 98

    Download it and find out. Microsoft doesn't list any minimum system requirements for this product.
