Hi all,

I have been downloading stuff off supnova and the movies files to convert, but they are in dirrfent formats. I have converted some of these to mpg but it takes forever.

I did try TEMPG but it kept frezzing up so i then converted to mpg but that took hours and it says file to big that was in nero 6, and it will not let me store it to the hard drive. so that I could then put that throught DVD shrink, is there anything else I can use to sort this out?

What do you mean?
Is your hard drive full?

Your files are most likely AVI regaurdless of all the other wording ie Divx Xvid etc. All of those formats are AVIs.
It sounds like a bit of reading is in order.
All questions about basic convertions have been answered many times and there are some terrific guides over on the left.

A basic tip before you start , if you're going to D/L stuff of P2P then be prepared for a lot of corrupt files.
First thing you need to do is check for bad frames .
Then convert AVI to DVD mpeg
Then Author
Then burn to disc

When you learn to do a bit of this stuff you will be able to ask more specific questions.
