DVD Authoring with Sub

Here's my situation

I have multiple DIVX movies (~45 minute, each), I wanna author DVD using selectable subtitle (I have the subs in .srt), not hardcoded. I tried, IFOedit, but it seems it only accept 1 single movies, not multiple. I read below about DVDLab beta version, but it also said it still buggy.

please help me, what progs to use, thanks so much.

There's a guide for this to the left but basically you need a DVD Authoring program that supports subtiles OR you need to do a lot of steps to 'side step' the limits of the cheaper programs.

To the best of my knowledge the only programs that can author multiple sources/VTS with subtitles are: Sonic Scenarist, Spruce DVD Maeastro, Adobe Encore, Reel DVD and IFOEdit. None of those program are cheap, but it's best to use one of them (I'd recommend DVD Maestro) if possible.

Failing that you can author with IFOEdit as the guides here suggest. Make a seperate VOB/IFO series for each movie. Then rename the VOB/IFO files manually, and author a new DVD from the VOB files (eg. DVD Lab or TMPG Author can author for VOB source files). The down side is you can't author a menu with selectable subtitles this way, so you'll have to manually turn them on/off with the remote.

latest dvdauthorgui can author with subs, even from srt,sub text subtitles.

Thank you so much Baldrick!! You have no idea how suffer I am searching for days tools to import .srt subtitle into multiple movies like these.

one more question, does DVDauthorgui support insertion of .ac3 sound stream ? since many many divx/xvid now have dolby ac3 sound stream, and I have to extract it using vdubmodded. thanks again.
