  1. i have disks of sound affects that i want to use in some stuff that i am editing.....

they were all burned to CD-R or DVD-R but to be able to get them into Avid they have to be compatable....

Im have tried and without any results to convert them.

Tried burning them back of in nero, i have tried two pieces of software that i read about in the forum....

i am worried that even though these sound affects play in my WMP they are date only?

    Would this make sense?

How can i convert these files from a folder on my desk top as i have copied them some of them from the cd.

    Many thanks in advance .
