I converted a bunch of svcd's to dvd using svcd2dvdmpg. After i burn them to DVD my panasonic S35 will play the ntsc svcd's fine, but PAL (480x576) svcds play black and white/rolling picture. The unit plays the same PAL movie off a cdr fine, and is supposed to have a PAL/NTSC converter. I was thinking maybe it can't convert PAL dvd but can convert PAL cdr? Dont think its a converting problem as converted ntsc svcds play fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Got the same with my Pioneer DV444, it converts pal-ntsc and v.v. if playing VCD but not when playing SVCD and DVD.
