I have posted before about trying to convert a svcd(2 discs) to dvd.The first time I did it the sound for the whole movie lagged by about 4 secs.
Now with some help from the forum I have got the sound ok for the first disc but after they merge it lags again.
I merged the discs with TMPGEnc then converted with TMPGENC then finally autored dvd with TMPGDVDauthor.
Since the first disc seems ok am I right in thinking I could prepare both discs separately then just add both files to dvdauthor or is there another way.
any help gladly appreciated

hi Mikey,
if You add each Disk (File) separate to TMPEGDvdAuthor in two different Track's it would work (But.. most Standalone Players wll make a short stop between the Track's,so it's not a professional way). Most time this Prob happens if the Source Video is not properly cut into two part's. You can try to cut it again with TMPGEnc (cut off the last 2-4sec.form 1st. Disk and the first 2-4sec. from 2nd Disk) and merge it togehter again(never tried it so far). If I face this Prob I convert both Part's seperatly to VCD with TMPGEnc (I know I lose some quality), then I merge it without Sync Problems. VCD format (Video [352x240, 352x288]) is compatible to DVD's, the sound converting will TMPGDvdAuthor do for you.
