Hi!
There have been alot of talk on the forum about what kind of media to buy etc. but i'm looking for a reccomendation on where to buy the media.
I've heard about Rima.com but they don't accept international credit cards (I'm ordering from Israel to my grandfather in the U.S) and they want me to pay through PayPal which i'm not so happy to do... i've looked into supermediastore.com but i really don't if they're reliable...
so far i've done all of my shopping in Amazon.com but there is no selection of dvd-r's there...
any1 got another offer??
Thanks,
Tzvika

There is no BEST online store. Every store can be the best at any moment.
For example - one week ago there was a promotion at OfficeDepot.com. They sell two spindles (of 50 pcs each) of Memorex 4x +R for 60USD both. This means you recieve a perfect media on 0,60 USD with free shipping in USA.
I have the same problem with payments because I live in Bulgaria, but I have a friend in USA and he pays everything for me. After or before this I transfer moneys to his account from my country.
You can also look at the advertising banners at top and right in dvdrhelp.com. You can find some interesting offers there. -
I like newegg.com. Their shipping is quick.
I ordered from Rima.com 3/12. They were quick to get the order to UPS, but UPS has not been quick to get the order to me. It is scheduled for delivery today.
I placed an order with newegg.com also on 3/12 and recieved that order last week. I placed another order with them the day after and that's on my doorstep today.
I think in sports that's called 'lapping.' Or maybe... FedEx shipping runs circles around UPS shipping. -
i have ordered from newegg.com several times and never had a problem, and shipping is fast..i placed a order on a sunday and i got my dvds by tuesday, well by wednesday..they came on tuesday but i wasnt home..

those web-sites are nice but they all don't accept international credit cards - which is my biggest problem...
which place does accept them? -
Dont go to SUPERMEDIA STORE.COM. They are by a wide wide margin the worst on-line media store I have ever used. About 6 weeks ago I bought 100 Ritek DVD-R 4x. I got the package about 10 days later, with the shipping box all crushed and looking pretty sorry. Not surprisingly the DVD package was all busted up. I sent it back for a replacement. These SOBs sent me back the very same busted up package under the guise that it was a new package. I was furious at this point and sent it back for a full refund. Also, trying to get someone on the phone is a harrowing experience. DONT GO THERE!!!!

thanks alot DVWannaB!
I also tried getting them on the phone but never got an answer - and just thought that it's the time difference... i think i'll go with a recognized retailer lik amazon.com or officedepot...
last question though - from all the discussion i really couldn't find a solid opinion on Memorex:
should i get the + or - ?? they're both a $ each on amazon, and i think i'll get them - but which kind is better?
thanks,
