  1. When I have a DVD MPEG that I make, I don't know which settings will make it look perfect on my TV. I'll try one perspective setting, but it looks different on each software player. I want to make sure it will be right before I waste a DVD burning a distorted video -- PowerDVD is telling me it is stretched too much, but Windows Media Player is telling me it is fine in full screen mode.
    Please help
    thanks

  2. Do yourself a favor and pick up a few rewritable discs to test your projects on. Trust me, they pay for themselves after you redo a few discs.

  4. yeah - I have a RW, but I guess my DVD player isn't smart enough to recognize it as anything readable.
WMP is lying? I guess I never trusted him and his smug attitude.
    Thanks

You don't mention what you are using to encode, but if you are using TMPGEnc I can guarantee that things will be OK as long as you stick to the templates they provide for DVD Video.
    If in doubt, Google it.
