  1. g'day,

I have a 764 mg divx movie that i would like to put on a 80 min (hopefully the idea of 800 megs on an 80 min cd stated in the tuturial will hold up)and i was curious that if i were to load the movie and i were to use the nero encoder to mpeg, would it still be able to remain on that cd or would it be too large.....sorry if i seem vauge its hard to put it into type

    any help is greatly appreciated

  2. i think you'd have to encode the video in to mpeg1 format. i think the built-in encoder is for non-compliant mpeg video which it encodes in to compliant mpeg1 vcd format.
and if you're going to encode the divx in to mpeg format, you may aswell encode it to vcd format..

  3. ive used the nero to encode AVI's of music videos and it works without a hitch.....maybe i should save myself some time if i know whether or not its even possible to fit a dvdrip onto once vcd....any remarks, suggestions, or tactics?
i really dont feel like getting up to switch discs :0-B
    Thanks

  4. you could try cutting the credits orintro out of the avi to try and shorten it down to 80 minutes.. if its a little more than 800, maybe you could over burn a little bit. otherwise you will have to split it up and make it multi-disc.

btw, i wasnt aware that nero encoded divx avi's. i just tried it and it wouldnt do it, but when i tried a non-vcd compliant mpg it did it just fine... hmmm..

    good luck Love a duck
