Has anyone tried to use this program? I know the regular version is like $500, but I was just reading on Canopus's website that there is now the ProCoder Express which can do the same video conversions minus a few features for only $60. What do you guys think? This would be an excellent to transcode file formats for the right price.

I purchased 2 copies. As long as you don't need to employ noise or sharpness filters it is great. It uses the same engine as Procoder 1.5 and is a lot faster than TMPGEnc. You can purchase Procoder 1.5 at Amazon.com for $385.00. Again, it works best for good quality prints. I only use Procoder 1.5 for Pal to NTSC conversions which it does flawlessly.
If the source movie needs some picture quality adjustments you just can't beat the filter array that comes with TMPGEnc.
