With the new DVD standards coming that allow playback of MPEG4 video with AAC audio, has anybody seen authoring apps that take advantage of this?

I've also heard that the next gen (Blue Ray or what ever) can use MPEG4 with the high def. profiles. Anybody got any info/links?

I just assumed AAC would be the audio codec, since the MPEG4 standard container uses AAC.

Optibase's new MPEG4 encoder, geared towards HD production, uses AAC audio.
