    Dear all,

    I have a notebook computer with a DVD-ROM (Combo Drive). Now, the DVD-ROM has been set for Region Code "1". As I know that I may have about 5 or 6 times to change my region code. Do you know how to set my DVD-ROM to region code "0" (for all region codes) by using the configuration at Windows XP? I don't want to download any software to re-set my DVD-ROM (prevent computer Virus). Please Help and thanks!

    Not possible without downloading and installing modified firmware or region free software.

    And you only need to post your question once, not 5 times.

    I am sorry about this. It's my first time to use this Forum.

    My CDRW-DVD ROM is "QSI CDRW/DVD SBW-242". Do you know which software should be used to re-set it to region "0"? Please!
