    I was talkin to some people and they said you can FLASH a NEC-1300A from a 2.4X to a 4X DVD burn and also enable 9.2Gig burns. Anyone tried it? Successfully?

    9.2gig would only be available from a double sided dvdram disc. Try www.cdrfreaks.com for many updated firmwares.
