    ^^ newbie here. is there any 'how to read scans for dummies' thread here? i'm very eager to learn how to read media/dvd scans...know more about the terms. i've dvdinfopro, and the only thing that i can read there is the media info lol ...as for the rest, it's like seeing japanese characters for the first time (pun intended). i'd like to know which blank dvd's would work for me, and which wouldn't. replies would be greatly appreciated guys. thanks in advance

    ok...im sorry for asking a stupid question..but which part of my scan should i look at if i wanna know whether my dvd or cd is deteriorating?
