well, they already have a lot of users, so i dont think they will loose users (unless hotmail cancels an account and closes it) I would say they will loose new users to sign up or they will make users use their hotmail accounts less if they dont upgrade.

They ought to bump up the size of attachments they allow with their free e-mail accounts. I'm always getting e-mails from friends that say "I tried to send you this great clown porn clip, but Hotmail said 1.5TB is too big of a file" :P As it is right now you have to pay $20/year to get 10MB mail storage and a 3MB attachment limit. The package that allows you 100MB storage is $60/year. They must feel storage is a lot more valuable than the rest of us. 100MB is nothing anymore :P

I hate hotmail as well. I had like 4 accounts all for spam and I just got tired of dumping them every other day so I just gave up and left. I like the yahoo interface and speed better. I get emails quicker with them and recieve quicker with them. Yahoo all the way.

I average about 200 pieces of spam per day in one of my Hotmail accounts.

One of these days I'm going to have to post a picture of my dick, so they'll all understand I don't have erectile dysfunction!

I said it once and I'll say it again, hotmail and yahoo are gonna need alot more then new tap looks and a little more storage to compete with Gmail. Gmail is pretty darned cool.

My BIGGEST hope is that apple with catch the wave and raise .mac to at least 1gb so that at last it will be worth it to me.

Also I currently have 2 gmail invites left over I think...

Anyway I'd gladly pay if they would make it worth my money. The free virus scanner is cool, the email addy however is usless to me. So 1 to 2 gb of storage space would be just right.

If he made such crappy media, how is he in business still? If I run across crappy media, I never use it again. This naked geek stuff was before my time? That thread about discs flying apart was scary
