  3. A "Q-Check" or quality control (C1/C2 error test, PI/PO error test, FE/TE test and Beta/Jitter test) before or after the burning process provides you with the necessary information about the quality of your DVD/CD.

    I totally agree.

I'm getting so sick of all these NEWS posts about this 12x burner or that 16x burner or whatever.

    Who gives a rat's ass?

    I mean really now?

We all pretty much have at least 2x if not 4x burners.

We got DUAL LAYER burners comming sometime fairly soon.

So let's concentrate on that rather than burning a DVD in 1.5 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

    It's getting annoying now.

Point is no one cares about your silly news when the fact is we are all waiting on the soon-to-be-released dual layer DVD burners.

So don't be mad just because most of us don't give a crap.

I think that will prove very useful, depending on how they implement it and if it will be user friendly, fast, and reliable.

Look at the issues folks are having with dvd-rs (5) and their compatibility - dual-layer recordable (9s) in the NEAR (less than 6 months) future sounds very questionable to me.

I think you're mistaken, Johnny Boy - it's horror movies no one gives a crap about. If I'm not mistaken this is DVDRHelp.com and he posted interesting news about a DVD Recorder. I think Budz deserves a cookie, and you deserve a corpse - do whatever you like with it

Every brand of dvd burners have there problems. Take a look at the Pioneer, Nec, Liteon forum sites at cdfreaks.com

I have 2 plextor cd burners besides the plextor 708A dvd burner. I've never had any problems using the dvd burner or cd burners. :P

  22. nah..your all talking shit...vcr2000 was the way....
and as for new burners, let em spend their money on 12 speed burners.
im just gonna hang out for a dual layer one,or beyond.
and as for pioneer burners being problematic, its usually down to a dumb ass owner who cant be bothered to problem solve themselves,as some of the posts on this forum point to.

Too bad Sony stopped making betamax vcr's. Whoa, it took me 2 weeks to convert my old betamax tapes to dvd.
