DVD-R Stopped playing in OPTORITE DD0201

I am having a problem with my DVD Burner not playing DVD-R's.
I have been able to play DVD+-R/RW since i got it (about 1 month ago), and have burnt and been able to play 7 DVDs (5 DVD-R, 2 DVD-RW)
The 8th DVD Movie I tried to copy (using DVD-Shrink) was 6.5GB in size and jammed up my computer at various places over 5 tries. After selecting No compression, it worked finally, and burnt. After it had successfully burnt the DVD-R i tried to play it back on my computer and it did not work! It plays perfectly in my Sony Standalone, but wouldn't play it on the computer even though it was burnt from there!! Now all my other burnt DVD-R's don't play either but I can still burn to a DVD-R!!! My DVD-RW's work fine!

When I insert the disc into the DVD Burner and go to My computer and double click on D:/ it goes into the directory but there isnt anything in there and it says the disc size is 0 bytes. When I try loading PowerDVD 5.0 it says 'Error Code: 8004027A... Graph Building Failed... then after clicking o.k. it says 'No disc inserted'.

Please help me! It's annoying me and the only way I can play or copy one of my DVD-R's is by putting it in my xbox and networking it to my computer and copying files from there to my computer hard drive...which is really annoying!!!!

Can someone please help me coz its really annoying and i'm starting to think its windows xp pro... please help!
