Is there some software that could analyze a MPEG stream and give the properties other then bitrate and image size. Avicodec does a little but not enough. Wishing to know the GOP used, if it's 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and so on...

Open it in VirtualDubMod and pull up the file info.

Bitrateviewer can show much information. The registered version can export GOP information in spreadsheet format so you can analyze it in Excel.
