Sonic Record Now DX 4.61 DVD burning question

Can anyone tell me why i can´t seem to choose 1x recording in Record Now DX?? And does anyone know why my new plextor PX-708A won´t write on discs that worked a month ago,all i have changed is a new motherboard. It is the known problem that 2gb into the disc the DVD pixelates and eventually stops. Funny thing i all DVD-R worked before motherboard change

BASICKLY FLOW THESE STEPS

1) UNINSTALL IT
2) REISNTALL IT
3) AFTER REINSTALLING IT SHOULD WORK FINE MINE DID THE SAME I HAVE LITEON 8X WRITER WHICH IT FINDS WELL AND I SUGGEST U TO USE RITEK MEDIA DVDR BLANK FOR BACKUPS THEY R SUPERB WITH ANY HARDWARE IT WORKS VERY WELL GET THE WHITE OR ORANGE LAYERED RITEK DVDS IVE COPIED OVER TONS NONE OF THEM FUKED UP YET WITH RECORDNOW DX

I have done this several times,i didn´t work. I usually use riteks,but i have a batch of datawrites that i want to use up,and funny enough they dont seem to work anymore,probably because they will only write in 2x.
