I'm using VCDEasy to produce SVCD images.
If I add 2 or more mpeg movie files then create chapter points for each one, upon playback, only the entry points for the first mpeg work.
For instance, if I'm watching the 2nd mpeg on the SVCD then press the "3" button to go to chapter/entry point 3, it jumps to chapter 3 of mpeg 1 and continues playing that.
To prevent accidentally jumping back to mpeg1's chapters I've had to settle with having no chapter points for SVCD's that contain more than one mpeg movie file.
Does the SVCD standard only allow entry points for the 1st mpeg on the disc ?

Why does people need chapters anyway? Most modern DVD players can wind forward so fast you can't navigate.

Every track on a SVCD has it's own chapter menu, which is organized in two menu layers:
1st layer shows all your tracks
2nd layer shows all the chapters within a track.
So you have to navigate to the first layer, if you want to change a track and then go to this chapter menu. -
Sorry, but I have to admit that I didn't understand that last reply.
Anyone shed some light ?
