DMRE80H question

I still have a question on this deck, though I've had it for a few months....

I tried putting 2 two-hour (+/-) movies onto one DVD, which worked, but the deck wouldn't finalize the disk. Consequently, I can only play back that disk on the recorder deck.

But, for reference, how do I put multiple programs onto one DVD and then get it to finalize so it'll play on any DVD player? Is there some trick to doing this? Thanks!

After you have finished recording to the dvd-r (with it still in the drive), press the button "DVD" on the remote or unit.
Press "Functions" on the remote and select "Finalize".

Must have been a "glitch"....I've done about 30 DVD's with this deck so far, but that was the only one that wouldn't finalize. But, I tried it again and it worked this time. BTW, that was the only disk that I had recorded in a slower speed -- all the rest have been in the 2 hour mode, so I thought there might have been a problem due to that.

But, it worked! Thanks.....
