I have a CD-RW burner and am able to simply drag and burn a file on the CD, however it becomes a 'read-only' file. How do I delete it off the disk?
I don't want to use Nero or a software I have to additionally install. I just want to use the Windows XP CD writing capability to drag and delete, rewrite files.
Please help

You can't do that with XP. To be able to do what you want, the CD-RW has to be treated lke a floppy, and this takes special software like Nero or Roxio. Sorry, guy.
