I've been having some frustrating trouble getting my audio to sync up with my video. My original audio source was from a PAL DVD and I am attempting to convert that DVD to NTSC @ 23.976 FPS. I did all the besweet stuff to convert the audio to the destination FPS, removed all the pops and clicks that besweet created, etc.

So at this point I have my audio file and video file which is now 23.976 FPS as well. However, I am experiencing a gradual loss in sync when the two are put together. The sound seems fine at the beginning but near the end it is approx. 1.5 seconds off. I have tried so many different methods to sync it but it is not working at all.

My audio file has a total runtime of 1:44:16.770 and my video file has a runtime of 1:44:16.917 so there is only a slight difference (not even a whole second like I am experiencing in sync loss)

I first tried to time stretch the audio to match the video but that didn't work. I also tried to use a guide found on this site to resample the audio file but that had no affect on the length of the audio.

Does anyone know an efficient way to sync up this audio with the video? I don't even know why I am experiencing such a sync loss. I could see if there was a second or two difference between the audio and video length but it's not even 200 milliseconds. Any help would be great! Thanks,

Mike
