Smartripper just rips the vobs,it doesnt touch the audio, maybe some other program such as dvd2avi is not set on track 1 to rip the audio.

Well to be more specific when i ripped Bad Boys 2 i got audio on the first file for the movie but nothing in the other files. When i did Shrek i just got the French. I've been using Smartripper for about 2 months with no troubles. Thanks again. I know my posts are pretty basic but i'm new at this with not alot of computer smarts.

Rip with Smartripper. Then sometimes i'll use DVD2One if i want to get rid of the DTS and the French. Then i use Clonedvd to burn a dvd.

Why don't you use AnyDVD so you don't have to rip with Smart Ripper?
You load the Movie straight onto CloneDVD"Whenever I need to "get away,'' I just get away in my mind. I go to my imaginary spot, where the beach is perfect and the water is perfect and the weather is perfect. The only bad thing there are the flies. They're terrible!" Jack Handey -
SmartRipper was/is a great program but I.M.O its day in the sun is over.
DVDShrink makes the whole deal from rip to burn a totally brainless operation.Esp Dvd9 to Dvd5. -
O.K. here is what i tried and my results. Tried uninstalling and re-installing both Smartripper and DVDdecrypter. Ripped a couple of movies to my hard drive and all i get is audio in the first file but none in the rest of the movie files. Should you not be able to watch the entire movie on your hardrive and just click on the files you need to view it? Should you not have audio in all the movie files. Everything has been working fine until this snag. When i rip a movie that has already been put on a DVD-R i have no problems. Thanks for any help.
