APEX DRX 9000 DVD

On the APEX DRX 9000 DVD recorder I have 2 questions.

1. How does one get out of the menus besides having to select "INPUT".

2. Why does not this recorder fast forward more than 2X. Mine I hit the FF button it FFs to the 2X speed then after that it is the regular play mode.

On the same DVD's my Poloroid DVD Player Fast Forwards up to 32X.

Have you upgarded the firmware? That was one issue that was resolved in the firmware. After upgrading you should be capable of 32X FF and RW The newest is version 4004D. As for the menus you can hit the same menu key to escape out of it...IE if in disc operations menu hit that menu key to get out of it.

I have hit the same menu button and the menu will not go away.

I just read where one needs a CD Recorder,. I do not have one so the upgrade will not work. Oh well. Maybe Apex can send me the upgrade.
