    Can anyone advise me if I can use a lead from an I-link connector on the above camcorder to my pc which only has usb ports, I have the movie software installed but I dont know if there is such a cable and if it would transfer my photos/video ?? I dont have firewire ports on my pc.

    If the camcorder only has firewire and your PC only has USB, you can't connect them together with your current setup. Depending on your computer/operating system, you should be able to buy a firewire expansion card for less than $50.
