I found out about the new and LEGAL Kazaalite. It costs $35 and they say it is 100% legal. I want to download music legally and wondering if this would be a good deal or if the new Napster for $10 a month is better.

The software is free. You are paying for the online help and support and the online tutorials for the lifetime of the membership. You can cancel your membership at any time and still get access to the free software.

We're trying the Napster Premiun service right now.

For WMA 128k the sound quality sure does suck on some songs. I don't know what encoder they used but I get much better quality with that bitrate using WM Encoder 9 on my own system.

Is this the great compromise? Pay 99¢ per song in exchange for mediocre audio? Bollocks to that.
