I am considering the LVW-5005 but have the following questions:

1. The manual talks about a version 5005A (Analog out?) and a 5005D (Digital out?)? Which one are they selling in the US?
2. Does it have progressive-scan playback?
3. How is the 2-hr quality in general?
4. How is the VCD quality in general?
