Is a 4.7 GB DVD Recorder enough to burn a WHOLE 2 hour movie (without features) onto a disc? Will i loose any quality or is it gonna be the exact same as the original dvd?
And if you don't add any features, how are you gonna add menus? Since there's nothing to choose from except chapters within the movie? Know whut i mean? Someone please answer my questions, thanks!

there's alot of variables here....
goto the dvd authoring forum... http://www.2-pop.com
however, on my Mac G$ system, using apples QT mpeg2 encoder, it is not possible to get 2 hours of high quality on a single sided/single layer 4.7G DVD
there are a couple of DVD's that I've- um, archived- that I was able to put on a single 4.7G disc. Andromeda Strain was one (it's out of production, and half.com had it for $25.. so I rented it from my library and copied it) fortunately it was a single layered disc...so i was able to fit it. most hollywood movies are stamped on double layered discs, making them more expensive to copy. (since 4.7G media is about $10 and you'll need 2)
