    Does anyone get an audio high pitch whine from their sound card when you even record thru the sound recorder?

    I do too. I use a AverTv PVR and WinTVGo and they both give me that sound. I've tried line in and mic in and they both seem to do that. I've tried everything I can think of like lowering and raising audio bit rates but still no luck. Please help

    Ive been having the same problem. I thought it was my UPS causing interference, but I have moved it and the problem is still there. All my mpeg2 captures have a high pitched beep, that is very noticable during silent parts. Is it my sound card or other? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
