I don't have an XBOX, I'm still with my N64. But if I did I would look in to it. I wouldn't pay $10 for it, but maybe $5 or so.

Never bought one...by have seen them before. A friend of mine has a green one and it looks really tacky. The blue one(in the picture) looks better.

Yeah, well I'm a sucker for trying these things out so I bought one. Got the stainless steel skin since a silver and black xbox looks pretty sweet. I just hope I like the real results as much as the picture Devanshu.

DEVANSHU'S BROKEN XBOX UPDATE

I opened up my box yesterday and I think I have to replace my drive. Right now I'm just looking for the best value on the net and hope I have it fixed by march.

As for the xbox drive, I have heard that they are one of the cheaper parts to replace since they are just a stnd. dvd-rom drive. Good luck in finding a replacement, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well, now I'm definitely sure its the dvd drive. It's gotten to a point where if I press eject it doesnt even come out and if it does, it doesnt go back in. I have the standard thompson drive and people on xboxscene said first take it apart, clean it, and if it still doesnt work, replace it. I'm trying to look for a cheap phillips or the samsung drive on ebay but so far no luck.

Microsoft is a rip-off. The charge $91 for repairs + shipping! For that much money I might as well buy a brand new one.

It's fixed!!!! I finally opened the dvdrom drive(because someone on xbox scene suggested that it was dirty and I should clean it w/ a can of compressed air) and guess what I found...Soul Calibur. Somehow, it got through the tray and into the drive. I'm glad I didnt send it to those bastards at microsoft. :P :P :P :P

Yep...dont know how, but it happened. It's OK...if youve played any of the other ones, its not much different. The graphics kick ass but after a while, the game gets old. If you play multiplayer often, its a good purchase. Otherwise, I recommend a rental.

Cool man. As for the xbox skins: save your money. They look ok but the original xbox is way better and the skins aren't exactly a perfect fit. They don't hurt the case or anything but your money will be better spent on a game or something. I put it on then took it off...that's how much better I like the original xbox than this skins crap!

Oh well, it happens and life does go on.
