    hi there!

    i get this error while trying to install mpeg2enc, mencoder and mplayer.
    os is 10.2.6, can anyone help?

    I had the same problem. I had Terminal open. Once I quit Terminal, things proceeded normally.

    i've got the same problem and terminal isn't active.

    are there any other ways to install the binaries?
