I have a DVD that was burned and is encoded in video_ts format. I need to use the media in an iMovie. Will ffmpegX do this?

I am not certain, but I believe the you could use ffmpegx to make it an mpeg. Then, I believe, it has to be run through Quicktime to make it DV format. Then it can be loaded into iMovie.

I'd use either DVDxDV or Cinematize for this..
takes DVD straight to a quicktime .MOV file (cinematize can also go straight to .mpg or elem. streams m2v and mp2)
