Finnishing a movie

I want to make rolling text with actors e.t.c in Pinnacle Studio 9. How?

Create a title...

Now all you have to decide is do you want it to overlay the video or be a full screen video.

Just select that option...

Then when you edit the title you should go to a screen where you can type in what you want to see.

Now I don't have studio 9, but in studio 8 there are 3 buttons in the upper left hand corner 2 have arrows on them. Click the one that has the UP arrow on it...that means your text will scroll up....Once that is clicked point your mouse onto the background (usually black), click and drag a square that is the size you want your text to be in and just type away. Make sure you pay attention to the safe size markings and stay inside them. Anyway, type in all you want and click OK.

Now back out on your timeline, the title will probably show on the wrong side of the last clip. So just move it over. You can preview it but what you will find is the text is probably scrolling WAY too fast. You need to adjust the length of the clip to make the speed what you are wanting. 4-5 seconds for a line to go bottom to top will keep it very readable without going blind. You can adjust that to your own liking.
