How do you create menus in sony vegas?

Hello,

I am trying to decide between sony vegas and dvd-lab. I downloaded the demo version of sony vegas 4.0 but can find no way to create a menu like i can in dvd-lab. Is this possible? If so how do i do it?

what kind of menu are you trying to create?

if you are trying to create a static, non-moving menu, you can do that with an image editing app, rather than a video editor.

if you want to make a motion menu, Vegas will do it, you will need to play around with multiple video tracks, motion track settings and generated text media.
