DVD-R Help

hi i made a DVD-R and played it on the Bush 2023 DVD Player and worked ok then i tried it on the Philips DVDR 880 and i just get no disc displayed and help would be greatful. 8)

The DVD i did was a DVDR(NTSC) and i live in the UK. If this is any help

Remember that only app. 92% of all stand-alone dvd`s supports DVD- and app. 86% supports DVD+ . Mayby thats the reason.
