Verbatim 4x - Are these any good? Dvdinfopro..

I just purchased these items at Staples.
I was trying to read up on them, but read mixed topics.

I was told these were the same manufactures from TAIYO YUDEN?
Is this true?

Mitsubishi Chemical Company...very good product (dye). But still a step down from Taiyo Yuden, but a step up from Ricoh. at least that's my 2 cents. MCC is not TY.

That's good media, no doubt. Not as good as TY but much better that most of the media u can find on the shelves.
I've used them and with no coasters and good compatibility with sevarl standalones.

The Verbatim 2X I've seen is made by CMC...not good.
